The IcyDock MB989 is hot-swappable multi SCA hard disk cradle which is typically used in a demanding RAID environment. Each MB989 unit occupies 2x typical 5¼" drive slot, and is suitable for up to three 1" height Ultra-160 SCA2 interfaced hard disks to be connected to a single channel SCSI RAID array. This product is very reliable and highly dependable. Constructed in rugged steel for its strength, solidity and better heat dissipation. Each MB989 features LED indicators for power, hard disk activity, and failure status. Buzzer alarm is incorporated and will function in the event of hard disk overheat or fan failure. Event reporting to intelligent RAID/chassis host controller is also possible via a built-in electronic panel.  Each IcyDock MB988 employ a door mounted large fan ensuring even and maximum airflow.
