PCI DISK ARRAY CONTROLLERS
The DAC960PJ and DAC960PG offer uncompromising fault tolerance, data availability, superior configuration and management flexibility.

Performance
The DAC960PJ and DAC960PG both incorporate an Intel i960 RISC processor, up to three 40MB/sec Ultra SCSI channels, and a 32-bit PCI interface to provide superior performance for servers. Adding to the performance story is Mylex's proven, award winning RAID firmware. The DAC960PJ and DAC960PG controllers use driver technology with which Mylex has won TPC-C benchmarks worldwide. With this technology, the DACPJ and DAC960PG provide the highest performance and most flexible RAID solution available today.

The DAC960PJ and DAC960PG include the feature-rich RAID technology found in all Mylex RAID products. Based on a proven hardware and software architecture, and with industry-leading features for fault tolerance, these RAID products are ideal for the all your of enterprise computing needs.

Fault Tolerant RAID
The DAC960PJ and DAC960PG solutions provide full RAID 0, 1, 0+1, 3, 5, 10, 30, 50 and JBOD level configuration capabilities, supporting 4MB to 128MB EDO ECC cache memory. Other features such as hot spare and automatic rebuild allow the server to continue to operate when a drive fails.

Mylex’s DAC960PJ and DAC960PG have a multitude of fault detection and fault tolerance features, as well as new functions to ease set-up, flexibility and management. The new Immediate RAID Availability (background initialization) feature enables other set-up tasks to be performed while the rest of the system is being configured. RAID expansion allows users to add drives to existing arrays and re-stripe data across all the drives.

Unparalleled Configuration and Remote Management
The DAC960PJ and DAC960PG’s storage management function is supported by the industry-leading Global Array Manager (GAM). This allows users to remotely configure and monitor RAID subsystems using industry standard protocols. The drive array can be managed over the LAN, WAN and across the Internet. Event notification can be via e-mail, fax or pager. The GAM application is rich in man-agement features, allowing users to easily manage their online storage.
