Environmentally Friendly
Power Saving Mode
Enables the printer to use the Power Save feature.
When Power Save is on, if the printer has not received data from the computer for 15 minutes the printer will automatically enter the power saving mode, thus saving electricity.
Toner Saving Mode
The KX-P6500 printer offers Toner Save mode, here the printer will reduce the amount of toner used to print the output.
This feature is useful for printing drafts for checking before the final print to save toner.
Waste Toner Recyclable
The process unit of the KX-P6500 uses a Waste Toner Recycle.
Therefore, there is no waste toner to throw away, making it totally environmentally friendly.
Toner Refillable
When toner runs out, there is no need to throw away the process unit as with other conventional printers.
It still has some life.
Just refill it with the toner cartridge, and get the maximum life out of your process unit.

4% image area means that the black area within the printing area is 4%. Printing 8% image area continuously will reduce the life of the toner and of the Process Unit to about half as compared to printing 4% image area. The "Toner Saving Mode" allows you to save the toner and to maintain the life of the Process Unit.
