Brightness You Can Count On |
At the heart of the PT-L797 series is Panasonics own BriteOptic dual lamp system. This proprietary technology delivers the power of two high-intensity light sources through a high-precision prism, and it adds an improved light integrator system. By maximising light efficiency, this system assures superior brightness in all room lighting conditions. |
Ultrahigh Brightness The PT-L797PE gives you the high levels of brightness your important presentations demand. The PT-L797PE delivers an ultrahigh 2,200 ANSI lumens. Enjoy images that are bright, crisp and clear in any setting, from rooms to auditoriums to church halls. High Resolution & Intelligent Image ResizingThe PT-L797PE offers true XGA resolution, allowing display of detailed computer graphics and text. When displaying images of other types, the signals are expanded or compressed through a digital processing system. This assures smooth outlines and outstanding picture definition with all types of images. Accepts Both Component and Composite Video SignalsThe PT-L797PE was designed for maximum flexibility and compatibility. All models accept input of both YPBPR component signals and conventional RCA composite connectors, so they can display images from sources that range from digital video and DVD players to ordinary VCRs. 10-bit Digital Gamma Correction These series incorporate gamma correction circuitry that optimises the non-linear imaging characteristics of the LCD panels. Far superior to conventional analogue gamma processing, this circuitry delivers naturally vibrant colours with smooth shading and image gradation. 3D Comb Filter A three-dimensional adaptive comb filter gives the PT-L797PE exceptionally precise Y/C (luminance/chrominance) signal separation. The result is a crisper, clearer image. Digital Zoom and Picture-in-PictureYou can easily zoom in on a particular part of an image for a clear, close-up view a big advantage with finely detailed graphics and spreadsheets with small characters. The Picture-in-Picture function lets you display video or S-Video pictures in a sub-window within an image projected from a computer. One-Touch Auto Setup This function automatically identifies the signal mode of the input source and adjusts the image accordingly. You get optimal viewing quality, with no additional software, equipment or manual adjustment necessary. Lens Shift Shift the projected image vertically even after the projector is set in position. The PT-L797PE has a great adjustment range, and the image remains free of distortion. Increased Reliability BriteOptic allows you to choose single-lamp modes to give the PT-L797PE longer lamp life of 4,000 hours. With BriteOptic, optimal brightness is always available with the peace of mind that comes with the reliability of virtual-zero downtime having an extra lamp built in. |
