The SOLA 305 Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) is designed with the modern computer application in mind, whether it's a personal computer, workstation or Point of Sale equipment. The new outlet configuration and form factor is very space efficient - the product can be mounted on a wall, on a desk or on the floor. The provision of multiple UPS and separate surge protected outlets allows you to protect your valuable equipment and data in the manner that best suits your application. For example, you could choose to protect your computer, modem and monitor on the surge protected and uninterruptible power supply outlets, while protecting your external tape drive and printer using the surge protected only outlets. Of course, the modem TVSS protection allows you to protect your valuable hardware from backdoor surges through the telephone line. The whole product is protected with a resettable circuit breaker - there is no need for the inconvenience of fuse replacement in case of inadvertent overload. The SOLA 305 UPS is specifically designed for Australian applications with multiple Australian sockets, eliminating the need for messy adaptors. The product is tested and approved to Australian EMC and Safety Standards and carries both the C-Tick and A-Tick marks indicating compliance to the relevant Standards. The SOLA 305's easy to spot LED indicators and audible alarms warn you, not only when power disturbances occur and when battery exhaustion is near, but also alerts you to the state of charge of the battery. Other features include cold start capability, allowing powering of protected equipment for a limited time when no mains source is available, and automatic restart after a power outage. The SOLA 305's advanced technology battery management ensures optimum runtime when power fails and automatic recharge when power returns, whether your SOLA 305 is turned on or not, as long as it is plugged into a live power outlet. |
