In addition to fast quadruple speed writing and re-writing, the SPRESSA™ CRX120E delivers super-fast 24X CD-ROM reading - the fastest available from any CD recorder.
For professional mastering applications, the SPRESSA CRX120E supports all write methods including Disc at Once and Session at Once.
The SPRESSA CRX120E also supports all major CD formats including CD TEXT for adding the artist name, album and song titles to an audio CD.

The SPRESSA CRX120E Kit is delivered with an extensive
software package. SPRESSA™ software tools delivers a series of powerful applications
for creating, editing and managing multimedia files and recording them to CD.
InstantAudio is an exciting package for the creation, editing and playback of audio CDs, including CD TEXT information. With PhotoRecall, users can create their own digital photo albums - including text, voice and music.
In addition to BackUp - a powerful piece of back-up software - SPRESSA software tools also includes the CD recording software itself. WinOnCD is an efficient CD recording program that supports all write methods and formats, whereas PacketCD allows "drag & drop" copying of files to CD-RW.
In addition to the necessary hardware and software for installing the drive, the SPRESSA CRX120E Kit also includes "My First CD", an interactive multimedia tutorial that guides the user through the basic steps to creating a CD.
In no time at all, you will be creating your own audio CDs, copying files, making digital photo albums, playing CD TEXT audio CDs, backing up your PC or recording home videos to video disc.
Sony CD-R and CD-RW technology for
perfect CD recording
With the SPRESSA CRX120E there is almost no limit to the size
of documents or files that can be created. Multimedia presentations and applications,
files and databases, digital photos, sound and video - all of these will comfortably fit
onto the 650MB available.
This is equivalent to 74 minutes of 16-bit audio or 72 minutes of full-motion, full-screen S-VHS quality video including high quality sound. Further, the SPRESSA CRX120E can store up to 1.2GB of data on a single CD using the included compression software.
SPRESSA™ CD-RW media are formatted for PacketCD. This makes copying files quick and easy and tranforms CD-RW into a standard media for data exchange - just like floppy disks. For perfect recording results, the SPRESSA CRX120E is equipped with "Running Optimum Power Calibration" to ensure continuous adjustment of the laser power with the CD-R or CD-RW disc.
